This Starlink Edge Streamer is very good. The sound and clarity from the TV with this device is much better than the sound quality streaming the iPhone. I was pleasantly surprised. I find myself watching Youtube music videos sometimes when nothing else is on TV just because.
It is quite small and light so getting it to sit flat without being pulled around by the cables can be tricky. I taped mine to the back of the TV with the switches and LED hanging just below it. The USB on the back of the TV powers it and the optical cable along with the power wire are completely concealed behind the TV. It streams clearly the way it is mounted and I can move quite a ways away without losing the signal.
One thing to keep in mind if ordering in the USA. Omni Hearing ships from Canada and with the ridiculous tariffs we have down south here it can take a while to clear customs. Mine took 22 days to get to Oregon but because it was labeled correctly there were no additional duties or fees. The sale price was really good so the wait was worth it.
Received it the other day nice small compact I’ll be hearing USA once again great place to order fast delivery great customer service and great price haven’t seen this price anywhere here in the United States I recommend them highly just got my new omega AI 24 yesterday so I’m setting up the TV streaming now very easy to set up looking forward to enjoying many many hours of TV
Go to My Starkey App hit Prog. Then hit any program on screen (not add). On next page hit circle with 3 dots and go to adjust sound. Move EQ sliders then hit create a program at the bottom after giving it a name then hit check mark in upper right corner to save. Make as many as you want, compare them, and see if this helps with clarity.
1st thing you want to do is buy it where you can return it. A lot of bad reviews are correct. If you do buy one, on set-up pair hearing aids on each side. you must also pair H.A. w/your device. Once I got mine working, it worked only about 10 - 15 secs. then had to be reset from start of set-up. when it did work, the rest of the app didn't. If you're buying just to help with clarity, use the M S APP , go to programs, then custom, then add. Then use the EQ to make diff. programs and hit the check mark in the upper right corner after each one. Try that before going thru all the headaches and wasting your time and money.
